ah yes the blogging world. i am so excited to finally be apart of this! (thanks for being patient with me as i figure out "my look" as well as the tricks of the blogging trade) my first post may sound cliche but i think the importance of starting a blog about BEAUTY without acknowledging the deeper meaning of the word can be detrimental...all across the world women search for BEAUTY. whether the desire is dark skin, blonde hair, a little bit taller, a little bit smaller, we are all seeking, longing and hoping for an IDENTITY. this blog IS a blog to find that curl or braid that awakens you and your style in the morning. this blog IS here to answer your questions about face shape, hair texture and styling on a budget. but this blog will NOT make you beautiful....
one of my idols, Audrey Hepburn was named by a panel of editors, photographers, artists and angencies "the most naturally beautiful woman of all time".... along with Audrey, the finalists were chosen for their "embodiment of natural BEAUTY, healthy living,-beautiful on the insie and out-" when speaking upon the tribute and title to Audrey Hepburn, the article went on to say that "she has a rare charm and inner BEAUTY that radiates when she smiles" mmmmmm to be a woman of glowing BEAUTY, radiating from the inside. to enter a room and turn heads with a smile in delight of knowing who she is. seeking her IDENTITY as one who SHINES outwardly.
(yep, little me)
I rejoice everyday in learning who i am as a daughter, a wife, a sister, a friend, a lover, a giver, a searcher, a laugher, a dreamer. and this journey, getting to know who i am, is BEAUTIFUL! join with me as we tear down walls of insecurity and bring to life those beautiful hearts while decorating THE MOST BEAUTIFUL WOMEN IN THE WORLD...oh and have fun playing "dress up along the way" ;)
love to you and your locks.
